Inside the Yurt you will find a light and spacious open area containing a double bed, a sofa bed, a table with 4 chairs, a lamp, a TV, a microwave, a fridge, a kettle and to keep you toasty and warm there is a log burner (starter pack included) and electric heater.
All you need to bring with you is your bedding, pillows, kitchen utensils and BBQ / cooking stove.
Stayed here a few times and on this occasion tried one of the new yurts. These are very well equipped with kit including TV, fridge and microwave. There's also an electric heater and a log burner. When you factor in the price these are excellent value for money. Whilst we were there the weather was appalling.... Very heavy rain and really strong winds, I can confirm that the yurts remain very cosy!! I,m going back in 3 weeks time so l can't say fairer than that. We were really close to the shower block and these were always spotless. We ate onsite during our stay and the food was plentiful and tasty at a reasonable price. Karen and Ashley that work there are always really helpful when you arrive and if you need anything during your stay. Overall I have no problem recommending Upwood, cracking site, location and people!
1 large / 2 small dogs are welcome.
All wood needed for the log burner, after the starter pack has been consumed, must be purchased from the onsite shop. Under no circumstances should any wood or any other substance brought from off site be used in the log burner.
Prices for the Mongolian Yurts start from £120 for a 3-4 night midweek break or £140 for a 2-3 night weekend stay.
